On the sidelines of the Forum of Mayors, Commissioner Ruth Dreifuss, representing the Global Commission on Drug Policy, met with Anacláudia Rossbach, Executive Director of UN-Habitat.

They expressed mutual appreciation for the strong collaboration between the Global Commission and UN-Habitat, built on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at the World Urban Forum (WUF) in Cairo (Egypt) last year. They also explored ways to further advance their partnership to better support local-level action on drugs, promoting sustainable, healthy, and safe cities.
