Anna holds an LL.M. in International Human Rights Law & Practice (UK), an LL.B. in European and Transnational Law (Italy), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Child Rights (Argentina). She has extensive experience in children’s rights, criminal justice, and international advocacy.
Anna served as Global Advocacy Coordinator for Defence for Children International (DCI), leading the campaign for the United Nations Global Study on Children Deprived of Liberty, before joining the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) as Study Advisor. She has also carried out assignments with UNICEF, World Vision International, Child Rights Connect, and the Policy Research Institute, among others, and worked for the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Argentina.
