Support for a Drop-In-Center: Harare, Zimbabwe

The Zimbabwe Civil Liberties and Drug Network (ZCLDN), a peer-led organization based in Harare, is seeking financial support to establish a dedicated drop-in center for people who use and inject drugs in the Highfield area.

The initiative aims to provide essential services, including harm reduction, HIV prevention, and primary health care, alongside a community kitchen offering nutritious meals and a safe space for peer support, recreation, and skills-building. In parallel, ZCLDN continues to advance national advocacy efforts promoting drug policy reform grounded in public health and human rights.

In a context where tailored services for people who use and inject drugs remain limited, this initiative represents a critical step toward addressing unmet needs. The organization aims to reach over 500 individuals within the first six months of operation.

Supporters are encouraged to contribute to the fundraising effort and share the initiative within their networks.
