The Jude Byrne Emerging Female Leader Award
The International Network on Health and Hepatitis in Substance Users (INHSU), in partnership with the International Network of People Who Use Drugs (INPUD), is inviting applications for the Jude Byrne Emerging Female Leader Award.
Established in 2022 to honor the legacy of Jude Byrne, a pioneering advocate for the health, rights, and dignity of people who use drugs, the award recognizes two emerging female leaders each year who are driving change within their communities and advancing advocacy at local, national, or global levels. Beyond recognition, the award provides a meaningful professional development opportunity, supporting the next generation of leaders in harm reduction, drug policy reform, and human rights.
Submissions are due 20 April 2026.
